We're delighted to introduce Salon Retail Direct - a simple and convenient way of salons, barbers and hair professionals to send professional products directly to their clients.
Whether you're recommending and retailing aftercare products, rewarding loyal customers or adding a personal touch to your service, Salon Retail Direct allows you to purchase products through your trade account and have them delivered straight to your client's door.
How it works
Choose the items you want to send to your client and add these to the basket. You can't combine this with other things you need to order - the whole basket needs to be what you are sending to your client.
Go to the checkout and add to the additional notes section 'this is for a customer/client of mine'
When checking out, you must put your clients address as the delivery address. We will fill out a handwritten gifting insert to put inside the delivery, the client will be unaware this has come from Salon Supplies - it will appear it has come straight from you.
Delivery
Our delivery costs are the same as other online orders - £5.95 net on orders under £50, free delivery on orders over £50 (1-2 day delivery time).
To cover any delivery costs you may pay we recommend you charge your customer a £4.99 gross delivery fee. Or, you can even offer free delivery yourself if the customer orders over a certain amount or even if you just want to gift that service to them
All done, simply leave the rest to us!
Alternatively, if you prefer to place your order by the phone, just let our team know that you'd like the order to be sent as a gift to a client. We'll hand the rest and ensure everything is arranged correctly for you.
How Salon Retail Direct Benefits You
Retail
Salon Retail Direct allows you to earnt the full retail profit on every sale without the need to hold stock in your salon.
Simply sell the product to your client at the recommended retail price (RRP), take payment, then order it through your Salon Supplies trade account at your trade price. We'll deliver it directly to your client on your behalf, allowing you to retain the difference between the trade price and the RRP.
This means you can continue generating valuable retail revenue without investing in stock, managing inventory or arranging delivery yourself. It also allows you to compete with online stores & offerings. As a guide, if you're unsure of the retail selling price, we recommend doubling the trade price to achieve the RRP which includes VAT e.g for £9 net profit, you would sell for £18 gross.
