It's also the perfect time to join an amazing online community of fellow hair and beauty experts. You can support each other, ask questions and learn new skills in colour and care as well as running a salon or freelance business. Here is a list of everything we know of going on right now during these difficult times so we urge you to have a read, follow and connect ONLINE.

Hairdressers' Journal Goes Live

After the success of their Virtual Week, HJ will continue with their Live webinars. Featuring industry-leading speakers offering key business advice, training videos from top stylists and colourists, exclusive offers from hair brands and manufacturers and updates on how to safeguard your business during the Coronavirus pandemic. New Facebook Group: Hair Socials

If you're a hair professional, become a part of its strong online community and support each other even when apart. Facebook groups such as Matrix Education and Hair Socials give hairdressers and barbers a chance to learn, teach and share opinions on anything from the latest hair trend to how to support your business. Hair Socials generally broadcast live every day at 7pm. They now have a Facebook Page as well as a Group you can follow.

Matrix's Online Weekly Schedule

Matrix have started a weekly rotation of themed live broadcasts. These will feature celebrity hair colourists and stylists demonstrating colouring techniques or simply just chatting about topics that are important to you and bringing the community together. Make sure you're following them on Facebook.

Wella Education: Join the #WellaFamily for daily education

Wella will be using their Instagram page to host daily live sessions on interesting topics such as Men's Hair, how-to braids, knowledge of Wella products as well as Q&A sessions. You can also watch Free Online Learning videos here...

Fellowship for British Hairdressing #TheKnowledge

The Fellowship will be going LIVE with #TheKnowledge every Monday at 3pm on their Instagram page to keep you close to your Fellowship family. And every Thursday at 3pm they'll also be posting a longer interview with advice, guest experts and ongoing guidance for navigating these difficult times while staying inspired and connected. Head over to their Instagram account for live webcasts which will then be edited and posted on their Facebook and YouTube on a weekly basis.
