Genna from the Salon Supplies Team in Southampton decided to film herself trying out the Babyliss PRO Perfect Curl for the first time.
Even though it was released a couple of years ago now, the Perfect Curl still proves that it’s at the forefront of innovation and technology for professional hairdressing. It makes curling your or your clients’ hair quicker and easier saving you time and money as a business. Genna estimates that curling her entire head of hair with straighteners or tongs takes an hour whereas the Perfect Curl cut that time down to just 15 minutes.
Everyone by now has heard of the Perfect Curl. It’s received rave reviews from professionals and retail customers alike as well as picking up an Instyle's Best Beauty Buys Award 2015. And now (21st of April ) The 2016 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
The only negativity surrounding the Perfect Curl has come from some people that have extremely thick hair who struggle when using it and also from some users having issues with cheap knock-off, copycat products. This is a perfect example of you get what you pay for as Babyliss has put a lot of time and effort into making this product as safe as it can possibly be.
Obviously we can see how the Perfect Curl can seem a little daunting as your hair is sucked into the heated chamber but as Genna explains, it snags less than your average straighteners and when it does snag (due to your hair being in the wrong place) it just safely spits your hair back out and there is no pain at any stage in the process.
The Perfect Curl is the professional equivalent of the Babyliss Curl Secret. If you’re thinking about which version of this tool to go for here is a quick evaluation:
- Brush your hair through to get rid of any tangles before curling
- Make sure you use some kind of heat protection on your hair as with any other electrical tool
- Use your choice of finishing product from a strong hold to a texturiser depending on what look you are going for.
If you’re interested in the Perfect Curl for yourself, it’s currently on offer at £96 until the 8th of May. (Usually £120).
